CAREERS AT BUS WORLD · CONTINUOUS DRIVER HIRING
Bus World recruits passenger-transport drivers on an ongoing basis. If you already hold the right UAE driving licence, understand professional passenger service and can work safely across Dubai and inter-emirate routes, our walk-in recruitment process is designed to assess you quickly and clearly.

WHO THIS CAREERS PAGE IS FOR
Our driver recruitment is operationally focused. We are looking for people who can safely carry passengers, follow pickup schedules, communicate with dispatch and customers, keep vehicles presentable, complete pre-trip checks and represent Bus World professionally at hotels, airports, offices, staff accommodations, event venues and inter-emirate destinations.
Because Bus World recruits drivers continuously, you do not need to wait for a short vacancy window. The practical first step is to review the Bus Driver Jobs Dubai page, check the licence and document requirements, then attend a walk-in interview with the documents you already hold. If a regulatory item must be completed after selection, the hiring team can explain the next step instead of asking you to guess before the interview.
CURRENT CONTINUOUS OPENING
Our main ongoing recruitment track is for drivers who can operate passenger buses and related group-transport vehicles in Dubai and across the UAE, subject to the licence category and regulatory permit required for the assigned vehicle and service.
Valid UAE licence appropriate to assigned bus required before deployment
WHY WE HIRE CONTINUOUSLY
Passenger transport is not a single-route operation. Daily staff contracts need reliable relief and route coverage, airport movements run across different terminals and flight times, tours and events create peak periods, and new recurring contracts can require additional drivers at short notice.
That is why Bus World keeps driver recruitment active instead of opening the role only once or twice a year. Continuous hiring does not mean every walk-in applicant is automatically selected; it means qualified drivers can be assessed whenever the recruitment team is building the active driver pool.
Repeated pickup schedules where punctuality and route discipline matter every day.
Time-sensitive passenger work where terminal knowledge, luggage handling and communication are important.
Multi-stop and venue work that requires calm coordination and passenger-facing professionalism.
Longer UAE routes where defensive driving, fatigue management and vehicle checks become especially important.

See serviceWHO SHOULD ATTEND
Best fit for immediate assessment when you already hold the appropriate valid UAE driving licence and can show recent passenger-driving experience.
Bring your licence, Emirates ID, visa/work-status documents, CV, experience evidence and any current professional permits so the team can assess transferability and next steps.
You can still discuss progression, but assignment to a heavy bus requires the licence category and professional permissions applicable to that vehicle and activity.
Bring the document anyway. The hiring team needs the real expiry date and status to decide whether renewal can be completed before deployment.
WALK-IN INTERVIEW PROCESS
Review the licence, age, language, document and operational expectations before travelling.
Use the current Bus World contact details to confirm the walk-in timing and location for that day.
Carry your driving licence and identity/work-status documents plus CV and experience evidence.
The team checks whether your licence category, status and experience match current driver assignments.
Expect questions about routes, safety, passengers, incidents, vehicle checks, shift work and communication.
Shortlisted applicants are told which practical, regulatory or employment steps remain before deployment.
WHAT TO BRING
Original valid licence showing the categories you are currently authorised to drive.
Bring the original if available plus a clear copy.
Bring clear copies and the originals you normally use for employment verification.
List recent employers, vehicle types, routes, years of UAE driving and contactable references where possible.
Experience letters, current/previous professional permits or employer records can help verify passenger-driving history.
RTA rented-bus permit conditions include a traffic-points report; bring any current report you already have, but do not delay the walk-in solely to obtain one unless instructed.
DUBAI DRIVER PERMIT REALITY
Dubai RTA’s current Passengers Transport by Rented Buses conditions require drivers under that activity to hold the licence appropriate to the bus and meet additional professional-permit conditions before operating. For this activity, RTA lists a minimum age of 25, same-company sponsorship, good conduct, traffic-points and medical/fitness evidence, Arabic and English ability, psychological/language/theory testing, prescribed training and a professional permit carried while driving. The professional permit is renewable annually.
Regulatory requirements can change and may differ by passenger activity (for example rented buses, tourist vehicles or school transport). Final deployment follows the permit applicable to the assigned service.
WHAT WE ASSESS
Space management, smooth control, hazard anticipation and professional behaviour around passengers.
Tyres, lights, mirrors, doors, dashboard warnings, cleanliness and obvious defects must be checked before departure.
A good driver plans for pickup access, traffic, loading time and passenger readiness instead of trying to recover time by speeding.
Clear, respectful communication with dispatch, coordinators, hotel desks, airport passengers and group leaders.
Reporting defects early, keeping the vehicle presentable and avoiding preventable damage.
Calm behaviour, confidentiality, no unsafe phone use, and correct handling of complaints or unexpected route changes.
APPLICANT PROTECTION
UAE labour law prohibits an employer from charging a worker the fees and costs of recruitment and employment. Official UAE guidance also tells job seekers not to pay recruitment agencies for a job placement.
A walk-in interview is an assessment opportunity, not a guarantee of employment. If selected, the formal employment process should use the applicable job offer, work-permit and employment-contract procedures. Keep copies of the documents you sign and verify that the final role and agreed terms match the offer.

Yes. Bus World keeps driver recruitment open on a continuous basis and conducts walk-in interviews. Review the Bus Driver Jobs Dubai page and confirm the current interview window/location before travelling.
The recruitment format is walk-in, but the daily interview window and location can change. Confirm the current details through Bus World’s published contact channel before travelling, especially if you are coming from another emirate.
You may still attend with the expired/current document so the team can assess your licence, experience and status. You cannot be deployed to work that requires a valid professional permit until the applicable permit requirements are completed.
For actual bus-driving deployment, you need the valid UAE driving licence category appropriate to the assigned bus. If you currently hold a different category, the hiring team can tell you whether the role is suitable now or only after licence progression.
Dubai RTA’s current conditions for Passengers Transport by Rented Buses list a minimum age of 25 for the activity’s professional bus-driver permit. This is separate from the minimum age for obtaining a heavy-bus driving licence.
Those are among Bus World’s core passenger-transport workstreams. Final assignment depends on current operational demand, vehicle category, route experience and the permit/licence applicable to the service.
Bring your UAE driving licence, Emirates ID if available, passport and visa/work-status documents, an updated CV, and any experience letters, professional permits or traffic/safety records you already hold.
No fixed salary is published on this page because the final package can depend on licence category, experience, assigned work, duty pattern and the formal offer. Ask for the complete compensation and benefit terms during the interview and review them in the official offer before accepting.
RTA’s current professional-driver guidance states that a professional driver permit is tied to the company under which the driver is registered. Final Bus World deployment must use the correct company and activity permissions.
Not automatically. The walk-in lets the team screen documents and experience. Shortlisted drivers may need further driving assessment, document checks, regulatory steps and the formal employment process before deployment.
